You Are Cordially Invited

Alongside our graphic design practice we initiated a new visual magazine on contemporary art; You Are Cordially Invited.

The launch issue (2013) presented a two-dimensional art fair with an international line-up of galleries, showing recent –and often still available– works of art.

For the second issue (SOON!) the Group Show consists out of fifteen very inspiring and renewing artists, selected by curator's Alexander Mayhew and Jaring Dürst Britt. Can an artist, trained as painter or sculpturer, make a video work, or become a performer? And if so, should he find a stage? Which audience should he address? Questioning these possibilities is one thing, but trying so –even when it is beyond reason– marks this audacious issue.

You Are Cordially Invited aims to create a broader audience for contemporary art and culture. Addressing a new generation of art collectors You Are Cordially Invited functions as a professional guide to global trends, references, context and above all beautiful imagery.
