The yearbook is inspired by the constructivist experiments of Henryk Berlewi (Warsaw, 1894 – Paris, 1967). The optical game with vertical alignment (referring to the theme ‘composition’ and the pattern of stripes of their building) is translated into the typography. Six weights of Futura (from ultra light to extra black) are typeset from extra wide to very narrow. Due to this optical effect in the book, the page lay-out will expand and squeeze as waves.
